From Blue to Blue for Vasiliou

Margate have announced the signing of midfielder Antonis Vasiliou, who you may remember from his time with fellow Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Wingate & Finchley last season.

Antonis originally joined the Summers Lane side in January last year, on loan from Barnet, and he was an instant hit, scoring the opening goal in a two-nil victory over Brightlingsea Regent. He made fourteen appearances in total during the 21-22 campaign, scoring another four goals to add to his opener- and last season made another forty six appearances, scoring eight times.

Prior to his time with the Blues, he played four times for Ashford Town.

A Cypriot Youth International, he became part of the Barnet first team squad after coming through their Under 18 side. He also spent time on loan at Berkhamsted, St Albans City and Beaconsfield.
