From Clarets to Blue

Barking have announced the signing of Chelmsford City defender Elliot Omozusi, who has played for the Clarets for four years.

The player, who as a youth represented England from Under sixteen through to under nineteen, has quite a pedigree. He came through the youth ranks at Fulham, and played for the Cottagers in the Premier League, also spending some time on loan with Norwich City and Charlton Athletic before signing on permanently with Leyton Orient, where he made more than one hundred appearances.

He went on to play for Cambridge United, and closer to home (for us!) he spent a short time with Whitehawk before heading to Chelmsford.
