Archie Johnson back at Cray Wanderers

Cray Wanderers have announced the signing of Margate defender Archie Johnson.

Archie moved to the Kent coast in the summer after sweeping all before him for Beckenham Town in the South East Division last season, and has played thirty four times in blue this season. He was in our South East Team of the Season at the end of the 22-23 campaign, won Supporters, Managers and Players Player of the Season awards, and made forty one appearances as Becks made their way to the Play Off semi Final.

Prior to his time with Beckenham he was with Welling United for a number of years after starting off in the youth ranks, and was with Wands for the 2018-19 season, playing thirty four times as his side won the South East title by an eight point margin.
