From top to bottom!

This morning we brought you the news that the manager of our League leaders, Sammy Moore, had left Potters Bar Town. This evening he has been announced as the new manager of Faversham Town- bottom of Pitching In Isthmian South East with a paltry seven points.

The Lilywhites parted company with their former manager, Simon Austin, little more than twenty four hours ago- and we expected them to quickly find a replacement given their precarious position, but we didn't expect it would be perhaps the best performing boss in the League. His Assistant at the Scholars, Darren Beale, has also made the move.

The Lilywhites explained:

'As a Board, we could not have been more delighted that Sammy, Darren and their back room staff have accepted our new challenges and goals for Faversham Town, After looking into what Sammy and Darren have achieved together with Leatherhead, Concord Rangers, Hemel Hempstead Town, but more recently doing a magnificent job at Potters Bar Town, where he has taken them from the relegation zone in January of this year to 13th position at the end of last season, building a team in the close season who are currently top of the Isthmian Premiere League in a short space of time, this was the manager that we wanted.

This shows all people connected with Faversham Town F.C. of our commitment, to bring in the very best people to assist us with this new exciting project. This appointment shows a massive statement of our intentions for the Lilywhites. Sammy and his team understand the objectives ahead and are fully committed to the project and comes into the club on a long term agreement.'
