Geordies unveil new changing facilities- and a new keeper

It was an exciting weekend for Hanwell Town

BetVictor South Central Division side Hanwell Town already had one of the best pitches in non-league football. Now, courtesy of a Football Stadia Improvement Fund grant, they have perhaps the best changing rooms too! Saturday saw the Geordies take on AFC Wimbledon in a pre-season friendly, and it also saw their new facilities used for the first time. Local MP Steve Pound did the unveiling, before the home side defeated the Dons 3-2.

You can read more about the improvements here.

Starting the match in goal for the club was former Windsor keeper- and skipper- Hugo Sobte. Hugo had been with the Step Five club for four years, and you can read more about his move courtesy of the Football in Berkshire website.
