Get with the e-programme: 23 November 2019

By Ian Townsend

If ever there is a robot uprising, all football programmes will look like this. And Bovril will be flavoured with WD40.

We'll start our latest programme round up in the FA Trophy, where Carshalton Athletic came from behind to book their place in the First Round with victory over Surrey rivals Tooting & Mitcham United. The match had three goals, a generous food bank collection- the Robins doubling the amount collected out of their own pocket- and an electronic programme that looks something like this.

Into the Premier Division, and Cheshunt ended their barren spell- and ensured that Merstham's continued- with a comprehensive victory at Theobalds Lane. Three goals was the difference between the sides, and the programme can be found here.

Next we head South Central. Barking and Bracknell Town served up a seven goal thriller, but the Blues must have thought the job was done at four-one with ten minutes left. The visitors pulled two goals back and left the hosts hanging on a little, but hang on they did to claim their fourth consecutive league victory. They previewed that match like this.

Bedfont Sports still do a traditional paper programme but also make it available online, and their latest offering comes from their victory over FC Romania. The match ended in a three-two home victory, and you can read all about it- well, you can read about those who played in it, Sports aren't gifted in clairvoyance- here.

Marlow played Harlow Town and each side had to settle for a point- the visitors sixth draw in their twelve games. Here's the news from Oak Tree Road.

Finally, another club who have dual control, delivering both traditional and online programmes- are South East Division Sittingbourne. The Brickies are having a good time of late, and that continued on Saturday as they defeated VCD Athletic 2-1. Their last electronic offering apparently had five hundred views, so click here to see what the attraction is.
