Gills keeper to remain with the Rooks

Nathan Harvey heads to Gillingham- and then heads straight back to Lewes

Lewes fans will be delighted by the news that even though keeper Nathan Harvey has been signed by League Two side Gillingham, he has been loaned straight back to the Rooks for the rest of the campaign.

Nathan ended last season a promotion winner, winning the Pitching In Isthmian South East title with Chatham Town after joining them on loan from Charlton Athletic in February. He went on to make nine appearances- and also scored the winner at Burgess Hill Town in March before being sent off (pictured by Chris Neal)! He had previously spent time on loan at both Hythe Town and Potters Bar Town.

Nathan played Academy football at West Ham United before moving across to Charlton, where he has played for the Under 18 and Under 21 sides. He joined the Rooks in the summer, and has so far made six appearances, an important part of the Rooks unbeaten start to the season.
