Girling back with the Dockers

Goalkeeper Harry Girling returns to Tilbury, but won't want to remember his second debut

Tilbury announced the return to the club of goalkeeper Harry Girling on Saturday, shortly before their hammering at the hands of Hashtag United on Saturday. But don't worry, Dockers fans, the Tags only won by the same margin as Liverpool against Manchester United yesterday, and a Manchester United comparison can't be all that bad!

Harry, who made twenty four appearances for Brentwood Town over the second half of last season and the first half of this, was last season, ten the season before- a campaign which ended prematurely with the Dockers at the top of the Pitching In Isthmian North table.

The former Millwall goalkeeper moved to the Dockers from Cheshunt, where he made thirty five appearances during the 2019-20 campaign and exactly the same number during the Ambers promotion season in 2018-19, when he kept ten clean sheets and picked up our Golden Gloves Award.

Whilst a young keeper with the Lions, Harry also spent time on loan at Hastings United, Welling United and Leatherhead.
