The seemingly never-ending work to convert the M23 into a 'Smart' Motorway continues apace over the next few weeks, and that means that there will be a number of closures and diversions which might impact on our teams and their supporters.

The closures will start on Friday evenings- from this week- at 9PM and continue until 5AM on the following Monday morning on the following dates:

Friday 28th Feb to Monday 2nd March: Closed Northbound Junctions 10-8.
Friday 6th March to Monday 9th March: Closed Southbound Junctions 8-10.
Friday 13th March to Monday 16th March: Closed Northbound Junctions 10-8.
Friday 20th March to Monday 23rd March: Closed Southbound Junctions 8-10.
Friday 27th March to Sunday 29th March at 1AM: Closed Northbound Junctions 10-8.
Sunday 29th March at 1AM to Monday 30th March at 5AM: Closed Southbound Junctions 8-10.

Diversions are via the A22, B2028 and A264. See the image attached.

The Northbound closure this weekend might impact on Bowers and Pitsea fans on their way back from Bognor Regis Town; on Horsham fans heading to Carshalton Athletic; on Lewes fans on their way to Wingate and Finchley; Potters Bar Town fans returning from Worthing; Cray Valley PM fans returning from Three Bridges; Chichester City fans travelling to Ashford United, Haywards Heath Town fans travelling to Sittingbourne, and perhaps Guernsey on their way from Gatwick Airport to Whitstable.

We'll remind you again as we approach future weekends. Of course, they say that the work may be weather dependent, and as it never seems to stop raining they might cancel it anyway!
