Hanwell Town stepped up their preparations for their first Bostik league season by announcing a collection of new signings.
First in came centre forward Marcus Mealing. Marcus previously turned out for Thatcham Town and Maidenhead United, but plied his trade during the last campaign at Town's South Central rivals Marlow.
Marcus was joined by another forward, one who will undoubtedly be better known to Bostik League followers. Gareth Chendlik previously turned out for Dorking Wanderers, but you may also remember him from his time at Tooting & Mitcham United, Harrow Borough or Egham Town.
Next came the announcement that midfielder Dean McDonnell would be turning out in black and white next season. McDonnell previously played for Wealdstone, Chalfont St Peter and AFC Hayes.
Number four was another midfielder, Charlie Barton- another former Marlow star, and finally, number five was not far behind, with the club announcing the arrival of Louis Bircham, formerly of AFC Dunstable, who scored four times against his new club last season.
