Hastings sign a former Dart

Walsh confirms his place at Pilot Field

Hastings United have confirmed the signing of former Dartford forward Max Walsh.

Max, who is still a teenager, came through the Dartford Academy. He made his senior debut for the Darts last season, whilst bring part of their first team squad on a number of further occasions. He has been training with United for a short while, and managed to appear for their Under 23 side before the season came to a premature end.

Hastings manager Chris Agutter, speaking to the club website, explained:

“I am delighted we have been able to tie down a very talented, local, young and hungry player in Max. He has featured for our U23’s a number of times towards the backend of the season, in those appearances he was outstanding and if you couple that with his excellent pedigree with National League South side Dartford it makes Max a very exciting addition to our group."
