Hawks robbed

Harlow victims of heartless break-in

You might expect that in these difficult times even criminals might have better things to do than steal from their own community, but it seems that is not the case in Harlow. Yesterday afternoon the Hawks were robbed after a vehicle was used to smash doors and gain entry.

You can read more on this sad tale by heading to the Harlow Town website, which you will find here, but the club would ask that anyone with information contact the police. Pitch maintenance equipment was stolen and internal damage to property caused, and given the straightened circumstances which all Non League clubs are operating in this is a loss which will cause significant financial hardship.

Any information which might lead to the recovery of the stolen items would undoubtedly be useful.

Where next?

Flashback! Swans, Cockerels and a collection of fouls… We head back to August 2017 and visit Dorking Wanderers former ground at Westhumble. They were starting their very first Step Three season, whilst opponents Staines Town were both established at that level and focused on going higher.
