Burgess Hill Town welcomed East Grinstead Town for a Sussex derby, both sides looking to build on impressive wins on New Years Day. Hill had won two in a row, and their young side once again proved that you can indeed win things with kids, scoring three first half goals to secure three points and a third consecutive win. Dan Perry opened the scoring on twenty two minutes, his eleventh of the season, and just before the half hour Noah Hoffman added a second. When Reece Hallard added a third ten minutes before half time the game was won, and that’s how the match ended, Hill only a place ahead of the Wasps in twelfth, but seven points clear of their opponents.
