The Golds almost spoil the Millers party, but a late leveller salvages a point

Cray Valley PM played their eighteenth match of the season- and only their fifth in the league- and for much of the match it looked as if they’d experience their first league defeat of the campaign, until a late goal earned them a point. Victory over Littlehampton Town looked likely when Kyrell Lisbie’s thirteenth of the season gave them the lead on the half hour, but the Golds, who took four points from the Millers last season, levelled soon after the restart and then went ahead just after the hour, Finlay Chadwick with both goals. It looked as if the visitors had three points wrapped up, but right at the end Denzel Gayle found an equaliser for the Millers, who ended the day in ninth. The Golds are fifteenth.
