Millers and Brickies have to be content with a hard-fought point each

Cray Valley PM, the only unbeaten side in the Pitching In Isthmian League, looked to have a tough match against fellow promotion chasers Sittingbourne. The Millers broke the deadlock midway through the first half, Barney Williams with the opener, but then soon went down to ten men, Arthur Lee seeing red. It was no surprise when the Brickies took advantage, Mitchell May levelling seven minutes before the break- but perhaps more of a surprise when the ten men retook the lead, Williams restoring their advantage after one minute of the second half. The Brickies levelled once more ten minutes later, Stefan Illic making it two-two, and this was how the match ended. The Millers are up to second, nine points behind the leaders with two games in hand, whilst the Brickies are fourth.
