East Grinstead Town had lost their previous four matches in all competitions, and that run extended to five as ten man Sheppey United defeated them for the third time in a row, after doing the double last season. The only goal came from Danny Leonard just after the half hour, and although Ola Majoyegbe saw red for the Ites with thirty four minutes remaining the visitors held on to progress.
