Erith & Belvedere hoped to get back to winning ways as the welcomed North Division Basildon United, the Bees impressive in a five-three win at Welwyn Garden City on Saturday. The Deres went two goals up within half an hour, Josh Ajayi and Sadik Balarabe making them seemingly comfortable- but it turned out they weren't comfortable at all, as within six minutes of going two-nil up the score was two-two, Kai Brown and Marty Gage proving that these Bees could sting more than once. The match eventually went to penalties, and the visitors triumphed six-five. By the way, that's six for the season for Brown.
