Ipswich Wanderers took on another of our play off hopefuls, Basildon United, the Bees with a seven point gap to make up at kick off, albeit with a game in hand. The visitors finally made a breakthrough just before the hour, Callum Fitzer with the opener, but that sparked a Wanderers fightback, and they soon levelled through Rashid Salau before going ahead, Zach Pedro making it two-one. It was a lead they held, and they open up a nineteen point gap between themselves and the drop zone.
