Burgess Hill Town have announced the signing of former Hendon keeper Dan Purdue from Hampton & Richmond Borough on a dual-registration deal.
Dan first came to our notice in November 2017, when, as the Under 18 keeper for Hendon, he was drafted into the first team for his debut when their first choice keeper got the flu. The match, an FA Cup tie against Slough Town, went to penalties- and rookie Dan made sure that the Greens progressed by saving two of them. He's pictured above after that match.
This won't be his first Isthmian spell this season, as he made a dozen appearances for Chalfont St Peter at the start of the campaign.
