Invicta fans step up to help local foodbank

Collection at the FA Trophy match on Saturday

This weekend sees two of our own meet on the Kent coast for the right to progress to the Fourth Round of the Buildbase FA Trophy- and it should be a magnificent spectacle, as both hosts Folkestone Invicta and visitors Uxbridge have been in fine form this season.

Away from the football, however, the fans of the home club have decided that they are going to do their bit for those less fortunate, and are hosting a collection for the Shepway Foodbank.

The collection area will be near the Bar Invicta Turnstiles, and the Foodbank would be particularly grateful for toilet roll, washing liquid, children's toothpaste, vegetarian tinned meals and shaving foam. See the image we've included for details- and well done to Invicta's fabulous fans for stepping up.
