Hornchurch have reinforced their squad with the capture of striker Ade Yusuff, who moves to Bridge Avenue from Folkestone Invicta.
Ade has been magnificent for the Stripes this season, and has so far weighed in with twenty five goals from his thirty five appearances- including one as his former side fell to defeat against his new side last weekend, and another back in December as Invicta lost at Hornchurch by the same two-one scoreline. We suspect that the Hornchurch defence will be delighted to have him on their side, although we're sure that the Invicta faithful will have rather different feelings. There side has received a fee for the transfer, however, which the club have explained that funds 'will be made available immediately for our Joint Head coaches Michael Everitt and Roland Edge to strengthen our squad when they identify the right players, as we continue to push for a playoff place.'
Ade managed twenty nine Invicta goals last season, so his strike rate certainly isn't a flash in the pan. He also scored twenty goals for the club during 2018-19 and thirty the season before, so he's as close to unreplaceable as he could possibly be.
He has also turned out for Stevenage, Dagenham & Redbridge, Dulwich Hamlet, Tonbridge Angels, Braintree Town and Dover Athletic at a higher level, as well as spending some time with Cray Valley PM, Heybridge Swifts and Chatham Town.
