It's Tangerine Tuffs once more

Luke Tuffs returns to the top job at Ashford Town

Ashford Town have announced their replacement for Paul McCarthy- and it's a blast from the relatively recent past for supporters of the Tangerines, as Luke Tuffs has returned to the post he vacated in January of last year.

Luke took over at Town in April 2020, and departed for Leatherhead with his side in tenth place in the Pitching In Isthmian South Central Division. His time at the Tanners saw him narrowly fail to rescue a Premier Division campaign which was in freefall when he arrived, and he then departed Fetcham Grove in October.

He moved to Ashford Town from Combined Counties side Knaphill- who were in third place when the 2019-20 season came to a premature end, ten points off top spot with three matches in hand.

Luke joined Knaphill in May 2019, taking his first role as a number one after being a big part of Hartley Wintney's successful climb up the pyramid, where he took on roles as First Team Coach, Head Coach and Youth Team Manager.
