Delighted Kingstonian say children will continue to go free at Kingsmeadow for a second successive season after Lucas Fettes agreed to sponsor their community initiative.

The Ryman Premier's Ks announced on Monday that supporters aged 16 and under will still be eligible for free season tickets to all of their home matches in the Ryman League this season thanks to the independent insurance brokers and financial advisors.

Kingstonian officials have written to every primary and secondary school in the Royal Borough of Kingston to inform them of the scheme and the availability of season tickets for their pupils.

Individual parents and youth groups in the community can also apply for season tickets by contacting the club's newly-appointed Youth Liason officer Sally Brown on 020 8330 6869 or via email at: kidsforfree@kingstonian.com.

To be eligible, junior fans may be required to provide proof of age on matchdays and Ks say youngsters aged under 11 must be accompanied by an adult in the interests of safety.

* Ks manager Alan Dowson wants Kingstonian legend Bobby Traynor to prove his fitness by getting match time under his belt away from Kingsmeadow.

The striker, who scored 129 goals for Ks over five seasons, took a year out due to work commitments but has returned home. The Surrey Comet reported on Monday that Dowson is happy to give the hitman a chance but wants to see him improve his fitness before being considered.

He said: "Bobby’s return was never going to be a fairytale. He has been out for a year and needs to regain his fitness. I suggest he spends five or six games elsewhere, maybe in a lower league, to get that match sharpness back, and then we will see."
