Leafe sign Concord winger

Ryan Gondoh heads South East

National League South side Concord Rangers have announced that winger Ryan Gondoh has left the club to sign for Whyteleafe, in a search for more playing time.

Ryan is to some extent returning to where his football career began, as he was a youth player with Leafe before playing briefly for Carshalton Athletic and then signing for Barnet. Whilst at Barnet he had Isthmian League loans with Hendon and Staines Town, before then signing permanently for Met Police. In 2016-17 he made six starts for the boys in Blue, and also featured for Kingstonian- mainly from the bench- and Carshalton once more, where he scored three goals in twelve appearances. But it was in 2017-18 where he really came to prominence, playing so well for Maldon & Tiptree that he earned himself a move to Colchester United.

He made six appearances for Colchester, before moving to National League FC Halifax Town. At the start of this season he made two more appearances for Carshalton before being snapped up by Concord Rangers, but he may make his Whyteleafe debut at home to Whitehawk today.
