The Pitching In Isthmian League team up with Her Game Too in an anti-sexism initiative

The Pitching In Isthmian League are delighted to announce a new partnership with Her Game Too, which aims to raise awareness of sexist abuse within the realms of football.

The Isthmian League join a number of clubs from the English Football League and beyond to commit to the cause, creating further awareness to the problems faced in football by females.

Her Game Too was founded by 12 passionate female football fans who are committed to growing the campaign with the aim of fostering an ethos in football in which women are welcomed and respected equally.

The non-profit organisation aims to create awareness, educate, research, develop a strong sense of community and create strong relationships with clubs, among much more.

Further aims include creating regular content to champion women in football (players, staff and fans), creating strong relationships with club trusts and communities, having a presence at football grounds to build a more welcoming environment for young girls and women as well as continuing to campaign against sexism in football and online abuse.

The Isthmian League Chairman Nick Robinson was delighted to announce this new partnership with Her Game Too, saying:

“This ground-breaking partnership provides the Isthmian League and all of our clubs a wonderful opportunity to promote and champion female participation in football whilst looking to strengthen the collective stance that sexism and all forms of discrimination has no place in our clubs and within society.

This partnership will allow the Isthmian League to support Her Game Too in educating, building strong community values, and to continue to campaign against sexism in football."
