League name day for second round draw

After this week's Robert Dyas League Cup first and preliminary round ties are completed, the draw for the second round of the competition will take place next Thursday.

League officials confirmed on Wednesday that the draw would be made at the Ryman League's offices in Dartford on Thursday 23 August.

Holders Hendon will be among the clubs in the hat following their 2-0 victory at Ryman South Molesey on Tuesday night.

Romford host East Thurrock United and Walton Casuals are home to East Grinstead Town in the final first round ties of the week on Wednesday night.
