Lots of Lilywhites

Faversham Town were very busy on the signing front at the end of last week, so busy in fact that we decided to wait until they'd finished before rounding them all up! We suspect that the moment this article lands they'll add some more just to spite us, but here's what we know so far:

Forward Destiny Oladipo was first up. Recently at Haringey Borough- indeed he played five times this season- he has also turned out for Hampton & Richmond Borough, Lowestoft Town, Romford- and was a youth player at Forest Green Rovers.

Defender Jack Mayhew has recently been at Crowborough Athletic, but spent last season at Hythe Town- making twenty appearances, including two at his new club. He moved to the Cannons from Maidstone United.

Forward Frankie Sawyer was a livewire with Sevenoaks Town. He managed twenty two goals in forty two matches in the 2018-19 season and managed another eleven goals as 2019-20 was cut short. Injury restricted him to three matches during 2020-21, before coronavirus restricted us all to not very many more. Injury got in the way last season, and he only just reached double figures for matches played.

Prior to his time with Oaks, he played for Dulwich Hamlet, Hythe Town, Whitstable Town, Merstham and Hastings United, amongst others.

Another forward, Elliot Duncan, has played for Crowborough Athletic, most recently for Glebe, and also briefly for Sevenoaks Town; whilst Ollie Lankshear has also played for Glebe this season but came through the ranks at Maidstone United, where he was a big part of their Youth side until relatively recently. he has also turned out for K Sports.
