Maidenhead forward new at Imber Court

Christian Johnson joins Met Police on loan

Met Police had a new striker in time for their draw at South Park Reigate on Saturday.

Christian Johnson moves to Imber Court on loan from National League side Maidenhead United. He has already two Isthmian loan spells this season, most recently spending time at Uxbridge, where he scored twice in seven appearances.

He played Academy football with Maidenhead before impressing in the Combined Counties league with Holyport last season, scoring fourteen goals in thirty two matches. He signed a Maidenhead contract in the summer, and then went out on loan to Thatcham Town, where he played nineteen times and helped out with six goals, including one against Uxbridge on August Bank Holiday Monday.

Last season our friends from Football in Berkshire awarded him their Young Player of the Season Award.
