Make it Snappy- 9th October 2021

By Ian Townsend

We take a trip through some of the best of yesterday's photographs, with links to even more shots

Our fabulous photographers put in hours of work for little reward, so we'd like to feature their work, direct you to the rest of it, and say a little thank you. Here are some of our favourites from yesterday- in no particular order!

We start at Pilot Field, where Paul Doherty features the architecture as well as the action as Hastings United hosted Ashford United.

Northwood and Haywards Heath Town went all the way to penalties after neither could score, and the hosts inflicted a rare defeat on Heath via a shootout. James Brown feels good about his pictures.

Guernsey finally got back into action against Sutton Common Rovers. Andy Dovey was there to take pictures, as was SCR snapper Gary Brigden.

Aveley hosted Uxbridge in the FA Trophy, and the Red Army celebrated victory. Lambpix took the pix.

Chris Neal watched Burgess Hill Town defeat Sevenoaks Town, but he wasn't alone, as Kyle Hemsley was there too!

Corinthian-Casuals fans got to enjoy the sunshine against Merstham, but little else. Our headline image comes from the fabulous Stuart Tree.

Martin Denyer watched Bognor Regis Town defeat Cheshunt by the only goal of the game, and Local Bus Driver snapped the same game from a home perspective. whilst Simon Roe watched Kingstonian stay above the Rocks with a one nil win of their own at Bowers and Pitsea. Nashyphoto is the regular Bowers snapper, and he also took some fab shots of that match, so we were spoiled for choice.

Neil Holmes watched Chichester City's defeat against Great Wakering Rovers, whilst elsewhere in Sussex Marcus Hoare's shot of Dayshonne Golding's celebrations for Worthing against Bishop's Stortford might be our favourite of the day.

On-Field Matters captured Westfield's incredible comeback against Ramsgate whilst Barking's defeat at Heybridge Swifts was captured by Terry Gilbert and Alan Edmonds.

Rhianna Chadwick was watching Witham Town defeat Lancing, whilst Lewes chair Stuart Fuller found time to point a camera as the Rooks scored six at Margate.
