Thamesmead Town

Ryman League manager Keith McMahon has brought Theo Fairweather-Johnson back to Thamesmead Town from Conference South champions Welling United.

The midfielder, 24, helped the Wings win promotion to the Conference Premier in April and joins the Ryman Premier's newcomers along with Stanley Muguo from their former Ryman North foes Maldon & Tiptree.

McMahon has told the club's website that he's looking forward to enjoying the 'quality and experience' both players bring to his squad.

Mead's manager is also confident that his strike force is ready for the Ryman League's top flight with Michael Power, Jon Main, Stuart Zanone, Rob Carter, Baff Addae and Tyrus Gordon all on board.

Thamesmead were taking on Ebbsfleet on Saturday [July 13] after the Ryman North play-off champions announced on Monday that they'd signed a three year deal with A2 Cabs of Sittingbourne as the new main sponsors at Bayliss Avenue.
