Ryman Round-up Show

A guest appearance from Burgess Hill Town’s keepers coach Johnny Rattle on Thursday night’s Ryman Round-up Show couldn’t have been better timed after Hillians stopper Josh James was named only hours earlier as the winner of September’s Ryman South Precision Golden Gloves Award.

The 21-year-old, pictured, was only beaten four times last month as the Hillians stretched their lead at the top of the table and his mentor at the Green Elephants Stadium was joined on the weekly phone-in show for fans, players and officials of the Ryman League by another official from a title-chasing side, Margate’s media manager and press officer Ryan Day.

The latest edition of the popular show also heard from Harlow Town’s 29-year-old defender Michael Toner following his switch to the Hawks from Heybridge Swifts in the summer and Sport in Essex's James Colasanti, the Non-League journalist and blogger.

Launched at the start of last season by Harlow-based online community station Hawks Radio and hosted by David Square, the show broadcasts from 7pm to 9.30pm every week to debate the latest news and action among the Isthmian League's three divisions and 72 clubs.

Like all of last season's shows, every episode is also podcasted for anyone who can't tune in live. To listen to the show live visit: www.hawksradio.co.uk and to air your views on the phone-in call 01279 899150. Alternatively, email your comments direct to the studio at: ryman@hawksradio.co.uk.
