Met midfielder heads to Donkey Lane

Louis Birch is new at Enfield Town

New Enfield Town manager Gavin Macpherson has brought another of his former charges at Imber Court to the QEII Stadium, with the arrival of midfielder Louis Birch.

Louis first played Under 18 and first team football for National League South side Welling United, before becoming a Policeman in November of 2018. He has spent the last five years as an integral part of the midfield act Imber Court, and you may remember him from the -hopefully never to be repeated- 'Super' Play Off Final against Tonbridge Angels in 2019. Met went on to reach the Pitching In Southern Premier South Play Off Semi-Final in 21-22 only to fall to defeat right at the death, again with Louis in the centre of the action.
