Midfielder heads back to Soham

After a short time away, Connor is back


Alfie Connor, the midfielder who left Soham Town Rangers to join St Neots Town in the summer, has decided that the grass wasn't greener away from the greens, and has returned to Julius Martin Lane- making his second debut in the Velocity Trophy tie at Histon last night.

Connor joined Rangers from Kettering Town during the 2017-18 season, making a dozen starts and a number of substitute appearances. Last season he was an almost ever-present, appearing thirty five times, scoring two goals, and picking up a red card against Great Wakering Rovers. According to the Southern League website he's made eleven appearances this season, scoring twice.
