Milner new at Athletic

Prior to Saturday's match against Lowestoft Town, Grays Athletic announced the arrival of defender/winger Marcus Milner, who started the campaign at fellow Pitching In Isthmian North side Enfield.

Experienced Marcus was a young player at Southend United before first heading our way with Maldon & Tiptree. Over the last decade he has played for a number of our clubs, including Ware, Wingate & Finchley, Brentwood Town, Cheshunt, Aveley and Great Wakering Rovers.

The 2019-20 campaign found him at Brentwood Town, and he made thirty one appearances before the pandemic arrived. He then had two more spells at Ware and a period at FC Romania before his move to Enfield- and he made five appearances at full back during August before Enfield's enforced restructuring.
