Moatsiders give complimentary entry to NHS staff

Merstham look to 'give something back' by welcoming Health Service staff for free

Bostik Premier Division Merstham FC have announced that they are offering free entry for NHS staff to all of their home games for the remainder of the season.

Merstham Chairman, Chris Chapman said, "One of the things we want to do is to build closer links with the local community. We have a big local hospital, East Surrey, just down the road from us. At a recent Board meeting, we discussed what we might do by way of giving something back, and the idea of free entry to NHS staff was proposed and agreed instantly. We all recognise the outstanding work that NHS staff do on a daily basis and we would be delighted if they choose to spend some of their well-earned, off-duty hours watching us play this season. We look forward to welcoming them to the Specsavers Stadium."

All NHS staff have to do is to bring their staff identity pass and they will be able to enter the ground free of charge.

The offer will start on Saturday, when the Moatsiders entertain Cray Valley PM- conquerors of Ashford Town- in the First Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.
