Monday's Ryman South action review

By David Watters

Ryman League South Division

The only Monday night game in Ryman South saw Hastings United make it two wins out of two - and a second successive clean sheet - with a 1-0 win over Walton Casuals at the Pilot Field, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Tim Olorunda's scrambled first half effort earned the Arrows three more points and took them clear at the top of the table after Saturday's 1-0 opening day win at Chipstead - for twenty-four hours at least until Tuesday night's programme of fixtures are played.

Opening day leaders Walton Casuals had arrived at the Pilot Field on the back of a 5-3 victory at home to ten-man Faversham Town last Saturday.
