More Saints

Some last minute announcements from Chalfont St Peter

Yesterday afternoon Chalfont St Peter advised the world about a collection of new Saints (and we would have passed on the message sooner had the BetVictor mobile not been stuck in a monsoon on the A35).

First in was a midfielder, Luke Illsey, who you might recall from his time at Cheshunt and Hertford Town. He also spent some time at Enfield Town, too.

Luke was joined by a forward from Hendon. Dan Williams joins on a dual-registration deal with the greens, returning to our shores recently after spending three years studying and kicking a round ball in the USA.

Finally, Ricky Brennan comes in from Waltham Abbey. Ricky made twenty seven appearances for the Abbotts last season, mainly in the number four shirt. These included the four-three defeat against his new employers on 9th March.

The Saints kick off the new season by travelling to Ashford Town today.

Where next?

Shock and Awe! Goals galore, promotion favourites defeated, unbeaten records cast to the winds- yesterday had it all. Here’s our round up.
