More Wasps!

Dynan continues to rebuild his East Grinstead squad

After we announced a collection of incoming East Grinstead Town transfers last week, we have another set this week, as Leigh Dynan continues his rebuilding job.

Two players have arrived from Cheshunt, as Jayden Antwi-Nyame and Benjamin Dudzinski arrive at East Court.

Jayden isn't entirely new to the Wasps faithful, as he made four brief appearances for the club in October/November 2018, following his release by AFC Wimbledon, where he came through the youth ranks. The forward also made two substitute appearances for Merstham last season, and has played for the Ambers and for Tonbridge Angels this season. he made one appearance for Angels, in a draw with Hemel Hempstead Town, and two substitute appearances for the Ambers, in 2-1 defeats against Enfield Town and East Thurrock United.

Benjamin is a goalkeeper who started this season with Sutton United, making six appearances at Gander Green Lane after moving from Havant & Waterlooville. He has also turned out in the North East for Hartlepool United, Tow Law Town, Ashington, Durham City and Darlington, and spent most of 2017-18 as first choice keeper for Lowestoft Town, making thirty six appearances for the Trawlerboys. He made one appearance for the Ambers in the 1-1 draw with Brightlingsea Regent at the end of November.

The third signing is Raheem Sterling-Parker, who arrives from VCD Athletic. Raheem has only been at Oakwood since the end of November, making five appearance after moving from Carshalton Athletic.

Earlier in his career Raheem played for Harrow Borough and Enfield Town, and joined the Robins in the summer of 2017 after impressing manager Peter Adeniyi by scoring two goals against his side for Chipstead. They were just two of sixteen goals he scored that season for the Chips, and he was soon into his stride for Carshalton, getting thirteen as they won promotion to the Premier Division during his first season at the club.

Dudzinski and Sterling-Parker made their Wasps debuts yesterday as their new side fell to a heartbreaking late defeat at Hythe Town.
