Morgan for Sheppey

By Ian Townsend

Former Corinthian- and more recently, Herne Bay- defender joins the Ites

Frankie Morgan had a fine season in the Pitching In Isthmian South East, an important part of an impressive Corinthian defence which conceded only thirty nine goals last season; only champions Hastings United, Haywards Heath Town and Herne Bay had better records at the back. He's now back in that division to once more blunt South East attacks, as he has been unveiled as a new signing for Sheppey United.

Frankie was announced as a new signing for Herne Bay in June, but doesn't seem to have made a single appearance for the new Pitching In Isthmian Premier side.

He made thirty three appearances for Corinthian last season, and contributed a couple of goals, too. He also played a big part in their promotion to our ranks, after coming through the Under 21 setup.
