New centre half for Rovers

Franklin Nzeh signs on at Sutton Common

Sutton Common Rovers have announced the signing of centre back Franklin Nzeh, as they prepare for tomorrow's trip to Basingstoke Town.

Franklin was part of the Academy setup at Cambridge United, and spent some loan time last season at Soham Town Rangers, who these days play in the Pitching In Northern Premier Division One Midlands. He also spent loan time at Godmanchester, which we're reliably informed is a town near Huntingdon, not an expletive used when stuck in traffic near the Etihad.

He has spent this season with another of our former clubs, Harlow Town, and has either been on the bench or featured in the Hawks Cup and Trophy matches against Isthmian opposition this season, notably wins against Brentwood Town, Great Wakering Rovers, Ashford Town and Hornchurch.
