Kingstonian have unveiled a thriving local nursery as their new main sponsor as part of the Ryman League club's renewed drive to be at the heart of their local community.

Delighted K's officials have announced that the 197 Early Years Nursery will sponsor both the first team and the youth academy at Kingsmeadow over the 2015-16 campaign.

Founded in May 1993, the nursery takes its name from its original address before its popularity prompted a 2001 move to larger premises in Kingston's Park Road.

Kingstonian co-chairman Mark Anderson said: “I am really pleased that we have our new friends from 197 Early Years Nursery as our main sponsors for this season. Meeting Davinder and Dee and their family and staff at the Chelsea game was fun and they are great people to be working with.”

K's co-chairman John Fenwick said: “I am delighted that Davinder and Dee of 197 Early Years Nursery have agreed to become our main sponsors for both the first team and the youth academy for the new season.

"We are looking to build and brand Kingstonian as a community-based club providing affordable football to the local community and we think that this is achievable with help from successful local businesses like 197."

He added: "We hope that our new relationship will prove to be mutually beneficial and are looking forward to working with them.”

Davinder Mann, the founder of the club's new shirt sponsors, said: “We are delighted to be the proud new sponsors of Kingstonian FC this season and look forward to supporting the team in their upcoming matches.

“One Nine Seven provides children with outstanding childcare from birth to five years and considers it very important that children start to develop associations with sports at an early age.

"As members of the local community, we are delighted to have been offered this opportunity and will continue to support the club in all its endeavours.”
