NHS Sussex football runners hit 40k mark (well, apart from 42p)!

Incredible success for NHS charity initiative

A couple of weeks ago we told you about an initiative set up by Sussex Football Legends Scott Kirkwood and Kevin Keehan- with the aim of raising at least two thousand pounds for the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Charitable Trust. Well they later raised that target to £3000, but are now- a few minutes ago- on a colossal £39,999.58!

Amongst the runners have been players from all of our local clubs, and you can see them all by following Run5K4NHS on Twitter. And if you haven't yet done a run, you can find out more- and donate- by heading here.

So dig your trainers out, and hit the pavement.
