Nicholas back with Woods

Northwood bring back Hanwell promotion winner George Nicholas

The last time we saw George Nicholas in the Pitching In Isthmian League he was helping Hanwell Town to South Central Division promotion, a driving force in that topsy-turvy Play Off Final which saw them defeat Chertsey Town after extra time in May. Now he's about to try and win promotion all over again, after signing for leaders Northwood.

The midfielder made forty appearances for the Geordies last season, adding to the fourteen he made before the 20-21 campaign ground to a very early halt.

Prior to his time in black and white he spent time with Potters Bar Town, helping them to promotion from the Isthmian North Division, and prior to his time as a Scholar he was with the Woods, playing one hundred and sixteen times between 2013 and 2016.

At the start of his career he played for Notts County, Lewes and Wealdstone.
