Oaks bring in Angels defender

Tonbridge Angels have announced that their young defender Liam Smith has signed dual registration terms with South East Division high-flyers Sevenoaks Town.

Liam was an important part of the Angels squad as they earned promotion last season, and was on the bench as they defeated first Merstham and then Metropolitan Police in two Playoff Finals- but has featured very little since they started life as a National League South club. Angels manager Steve McKimm explained: "This is a sensible move for Liam as it will give him more game time, but also means we can call him back should circumstances arise."

Sevenoaks entertain Chichester City this afternoon.
