Sevenoaks Town are wild about Harry

Sevenoaks Town FC have confirmed the appointment of Harry Hudson as the club’s new First Team manager.

Hudson joins the club after departing Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division side Glebe at the weekend. He will take charge of the First Team for the first time on Saturday 26th February in the away league fixture against Corinthian FC.

The appointment of Hudson comes after a robust recruitment process with 57 applicants for the role.

Hudson told the club:

“It is a huge honour for me to be appointed as First Team manager of this ambitious club. I can’t wait to get started! After speaking to the Directors and Trustees, I very much felt their enthusiasm to grow the club, be innovative on all fronts and achieve something special.

The club is widely respected in so many regards; for its first-class junior and youth teams, community initiatives and of course its amazing 3G pitch with further exciting plans to build a new clubhouse and take Greatness Park to the next level. These are exciting times for everyone involved with the club.

My first message to the players will be that we have to do this together. We find ourselves in a difficult position but we’ll try to do our job and fight for every point over the remaining ten games of the season."

Harry left Whyteleafe in May last year, having joined the club from Croydon three years previously. Under his tenure they finished eighth and seventh in the Pitching In Isthmian South East, and were in fourth place when last season shuddered to an early halt.
