The Oystermen have unveiled their new shirt sponsors for the Ryman League campaign as Budgens of Whitstable.

Ryman South Whitstable used Saturday's opening pre-season game against Dagenham & Redbridge at their Belmont Ground to unveil the supermarket's logo on the front of their traditional kit.

Player-manager Nicky Southwell is pictured in action at the weekend alongside one of the pitchside advertising hoardings the company has taken as part of the deal.

Oystermen Chairman Gary Johnson said: "It's a great deal for the club and I'm delighted local entrepreneur Binny Amin has agreed to sponsor the Town. I met Binny through local networking group BNI and then again through discussions with Simon Skeet, our newly appointed Commercial Manager.

"It's clear that Binny is passionate about Whitstable and the surrounding areas and the service that he and his team offer residents and visitors to the town through their High Street Budgens Store."

Town say the new kit is now on sale at a discounted price of £35 and is available in all sizes.
