Parcell becomes a Towner once more

Mickey Parcell departs the Urchins for Enfield Town

Mickey Parcell, a member of our Pitching In Isthmian Premier Team of the Year for the last two seasons and a mainstay of the Hornchurch side who won the FA Trophy, has departed Bridge Avenue and arrived at Donkey Lane.

Mickey said goodbye to the Urchins on Tuesday, after four successful years with the club- the high point being the FA Trophy win at Wembley in 2021, the low undoubtedly two Play Off Final defeats. He made forty six appearances last season- more than any other player- and has undoubtedly been the best right back in the Division on a regular basis.

He was previously with the Towners- and indeed made one hundred and ninety three appearances, reaching the Play Off Semi-Finals in 2016-17 and winning the Velocity Cup in 2019- rather ironically with victory over Hornchurch.

Before his time at Town he was down in the South West, where he became a young professional with Torquay United. He also had loan spells at Bideford and Truro City.
