Thamesmead Town are heading into the Ryman League's top flight in August with a new shirt sponsor on board.

The delighted First Division North play-off champions unveiled A2 Cabs of Sittingbourne on Monday as their new main sponsors at Bayliss Avenue as manager Keith McMahon continues his preparations for next season's assault on the Premier Division.

A2 Cabs have signed a three year deal with the Mead and TTFC director Paul Bowden-Brown said the 'significant agreement' was another boost to the on-going restructuring of the club which aims to put them on a sound financial footing and will see the recruitment of a number of other commercial partners.

Bowden-Brown said: "I'd like to send my sincere thanks to Dave Jones, Director of A2 Cabs, for showing his support and recognising what the Directors of the TTFC are trying to achieve as we look to put the name of Thamesmead Town Football Club well and truly on the footballing map."
