Police vets reach final

MET POLICE are through to the final of the Isthmian Veterans Cup after beating last season's runners-up, Middlesex Wanderers, 3-0 in their semi-final at Enfield Town last night (Wednesday).

The Police, who in the previous round ended Kingstonian's bid to lift the trophy for a third successive year, will meet Walton Casuals or Northwood in the final on Sunday April 21. Casuals host the second semi-final on Wednesday March 13.

The details have been finalised for the Isthmian Womens Cup semi-finals.

Eastbourne Town, runners-up for the past three seasons, meet Westfield at Cove on Tuesday March 12.

Enfield Town, beaten in last season's semis after winning the cup three times running, face Gillingham at Chatham Town the following night.

The final will be on Thursday April 18.
