Rams boss resigns

Jamie Coyle departs

Ramsgate have announced the resignation of manager Jamie Coyle, who departs following their Play Off Semi-Final shootout defeat against Hythe Town in midweek.

Player-Manager Jamie took over from Steve Lovell at the start of February, and steered his side to second place in Pitching In Isthmian South East whilst playing regularly. he made twenty nine appearances this season.

Jamie joined the Rams last season as a player, making thirty nine appearances as the side narrowly missed out on the play offs.

He has previous management experience as co-manager at Dartford and Player-Manager at Welling United, and, closer to home, was Player/Assistant Manager at Margate under Jay Saunders.

He started his career as a youth with Crystal Palace, and has also appeared for the likes of Dulwich Hamlet, Leatherhead, Sittingbourne, Maidstone United and Hythe Town.
